Service Projects
We are working with various partners on the following Service Projects
LOCAL FOOD BANKS
Club members support the Carroll County Food Pantry and the Mini Food Bank at the Davis Center in Mount Carroll by donating food, contributing funds, fundraising, and volunteering at the pantries.
FARMER’S MARKET
Club members work at the Rotary sponsored booth at the Saturday morning Mt. Carroll Farmer’s Market selling hot dogs, pretzels or other items. All profits go to support Rotary’s activities in the area and around the world.
ROTARY GROVE
Planting and maintaining a community orchard at The Davis Community Center, including a new pollinator garden.
MT CARROLL PUMPKIN FEST
The club supports this annual festival that regularly draws a large crowd to our historic downtown the last Saturday of October. Our yearly contribution ensures that the many activities for children are provided FREE. The event also includes a large farmers market, live music and many food options, making it a fun day for the entire family.
